9 out of 10 middle schools in rural Guatemala have no access to textbooks. By getting these critical resources into students’ hands, you reduce class time teachers spend dictating by 56%. Your gift will make a school’s Textbook Program sustainable by covering costs such as protective book covers, warehouse storage, teacher training in effective use of the books and program management & evaluation. You will receive a plaque recognizing your generosity installed at the school you sponsor, thank-you letters and photos from the students who benefit from your support and you will have the opportunity to deliver textbooks and inaugurate the Textbook Program at your sponsored school on a CoEd tour.
