Sponsorship Highlights

As a Padrino, or godparent, you ensure that students without sponsors still receive a scholarship. You ensure their class’s progress is measured and the program will continue to grow and improve. This means covering costs such as scholarships for unsponsored students, research, program evaluation, and matching students and sponsors. You will receive regular updates and notes from your class, and a plaque recognizing your gift at CoEd’s Education Center.

School Summary

Hacienda María's main industry is agriculture, mainly coffee farming. The climate and soil here produce several coffee varieties, including Borbón, Caturra and Catuaí. Hacienda María entered CoEd’s Textbook Program in 2001 and the Computer Program in 2004
