Padrino

As a Padrino, or godparent, you ensure that students without sponsors still receive a scholarship. You ensure their class’s progress is measured and the program will continue to grow and improve. This means covering costs such as scholarships for unsponsored students, research, program evaluation, and matching students and sponsors. You will receive regular updates and notes from your class, and a plaque recognizing your gift at CoEd’s Education Center.

Quisaché is a community located in Acatenango, Chimaltenango. The name "Quisaché" is derived from the Kakchiquel (a Maya language) words "qui'ix" (thorns) and ä ch´e (tree). Its main economic activity is around the production and export of coffee.

The Quisaché High School Class of 2028 has 11 Rise scholars.
