Padrino

As a Padrino, or godparent, you ensure that students without sponsors still receive a scholarship. You ensure their class’s progress is measured and the program will continue to grow and improve. This means covering costs such as scholarships for unsponsored students, research, program evaluation, and matching students and sponsors. You will receive regular updates and notes from your class, and a plaque recognizing your gift at CoEd’s Education Center.

San Bartolomé is located in the department of Sacatepéquez, just west of Guatemala City. It's named after St. Bartholomew, and a fair is held there in honor of him every August 24th. The main economic activity is the production of fruits and vegetables.
