Biography
My name is David O., I live in Aldea Quisaché in the municipality of Acatenango. My life is very beautiful despite the economic difficulties. My parents motivate us every day to fight for our goals. I am currently studying at the Aldea Quisaché School. My father's name is Santos, he is 40 years old, he studied up to third grade. My mother, Gloria, is 35 years old, is a housewife, and did not study. My father is a day laborer and what he earns is not enough to be able to support the house. My parents always support me to continue studying.
In my free time I like to play soccer, do my homework and draw. I have 4 siblings, they are: Karla is 14 years old and studying eighth grade, Leidy is 9 years old and studying third grade, Natali is 6 years old and studying first grade, Jerson is 3 years old and does not study. My favorite food is chicken soup. My favorite class is Mathematics. My dream is to be able to be a policeman and thus be able to help my parents financially. My mother and I are very happy to know that there are possibilities of applying for a scholarship since that would help me to continue with my studies. My parents do not have sufficient financial resources to pay for my studies even though they do want to support me. So the scholarship is a great opportunity to continue improving myself and my dream which is to graduate and be a good police officer in order to serve my country and the citizens.
