Biography
My name is Juanita C., I was born on April 16, 2010, in Caserío Chimixayá, Aldea Saquitacaj. I am an orphan of a father and unfortunately I was left by my mother. I have lived with my grandmother since I was one year old. My favorite subjects are Artistic Expression and Mathematics, and my dream is to be a great painter or veterinarian. In my free time, I help my grandmother and my aunt with the housework. I also listen to music and sometimes I go for a walk in the streets. I like the color blue, and my favorite food is a traditional Guatemalan dish called hilachas. My grandmother's name is María, she is a housewife, she attended school to the sixth grade. She supports me so that I can continue with my studies. She loves me as if I were her daughter because I have lived with her since she was very little. The person who supports us in my uncle, he has his own family, so it is difficult for him to provide us with everything we need. I want the scholarship to be able to continue with my studies, achieve my dreams and be able to support my grandmother. She has been like my mother, she has always been there when I need her and I want to be there for her in the future.
