My name is Angela. I was born in September 16th, 2010 at Patzún. I study at Felipe López R. public school. My father’s name is Adiel. He studied 9th grade only. He worked as a car mechanic assistant. My mom’s name is Cayetana; she did not study. She is a housewife. The house where we live is from my grandmother. Sometimes we buy potable water, or a neighbor gives it to us. I have six siblings who were not able to study due the lack of financial resources. My parents hope that I can study. They give me their unconditional support in my studies. They help me to check up my homework, to correct me, and they tell me that they will give me the opportunity that they did not have. My dream is to graduate as a doctor to help people in need. My favorite subject is Kaqchikel Mayan Language. I like to help my mom do house chores and clean up my bedroom. My favorite pastime is playing basketball.
