My name is Aylin T., I was born on February 3, 2010. I am studying at the Cerritos Institute. I am originally from La Canoa Village. I live with my mother and my 8-year-old brother. My parents separated three years ago. We rented the house where we lived. We had been living there for 4 weeks. Previously, we were watching over of a property, but they treated us badly and from one day to the next they kicked us out. My father supports us with a monthly payment to purchase food and materials that we need at school. My mother works in the municipality as a volunteer in a community home. They pay her very little per month and with that she covers our family's expenses.

I am a self-confident lady with many abilities. I am clear about what I want for my future and how I am going to achieve it. My favorite subject is Natural Sciences because I like nature. I also like entrepreneurship because it is about ways to undertake and improve yourself. I would like to graduate in Hospitality and Tourism, to be able to improve myself. I depend on myself.
