Biography
My name is Angélica. I was born in Antigua Guatemala and live in the community of San Bartolomé Milpas Altas. I am the youngest daughter of two siblings.
My father, Faustino, works as a mason. He earned a high school degree. My mother, Floridalma, sells flowers on Wednesdays at the market. She completed her education up tp 11th grade. My mother suffers from an illness and she receives some treatment and medication. My father has struggled to support our family. I have a brother in 8th grade. I would like to continue studying so I can help my parents financially.
In the future, I hope to graduate as a doctor so I can help others, as I consider it a noble and useful career. One of my favorite courses is math, because when you understand it well, it's easy and can be applied to daily life.
In my free time, I like to walk through wooded areas. I also love cooking and making desserts. I help my mother in the kitchen and learn more about the typical dishes of my community. I want to get the scholarship so I can continue my studies and achieve my goals and dreams. With the help of CoEd, I'm sure I'll achieve it.
