Biography
My name is Karen. I was born at the Pedro de Betancourt Hospital in Antigua Guatemala and live in San Bartolomé Milpas Altas.
I am the older sister of a brother. My mother, Reyna, graduated from 6th grade, and is a homemaker. My father, Gerardo, graduated from 11th grade, and works as a guard at the IEBC Institute in San Bartolomé Milpas Altas. My father suffers from an illness and receives treatment.
My dream is to be a veterinarian because I love animals, and one of my greatest dreams is to have my own veterinary clinic in my community. One of my goals is to continue studying, prepare myself, and be a successful person. I want a job that allows me to financially support my family and, of course, afford my dad's medications.
My favorite hobbies are spending time with my family and spending time with each of them. My favorite course is Artistic Expression because it fosters creativity and promotes the development of new skills. I want to get the scholarship because my family is currently experiencing financial difficulties. I want to make the most of my studies and achieve all my dreams.
