Hello, my name is Wendy. I live with my parents and two brothers. My mom's name is Mirna, and my dad's name is Gilberto. I am the oldest of three siblings. My dad works as a day laborer in the fields, and my mom is a homemaker. She takes care of us and does the housework. Although my parents only completed elementary school, they have always supported me with great effort so I can continue my studies and fulfill my dreams.

Every day I help with the housework, do my homework, and help my mom after school with whatever she needs. I am also in charge of preparing dinner before going to sleep. One of my favorite activities is drawing and painting because it helps me relax. I like to give my drawings to my dad because I like to see him smile.

I'm a very shy girl at school, but I like being with my classmates. My favorite subject at school is communication and language because I enjoy communicating with people. My favorite colors are black, pink, and red. My grandmother lives with us; she's my father's mother, and I love spending time with her in the afternoons. On Sundays, I attend church with my family, and we usually stay there a little longer.

This scholarship allows me to continue my studies. My dream is to study because I want to graduate as a nurse and be able to work to help people and achieve all my goals in life.
