Biography
My name is Deymi. I am originally from the village of Chuachilil, part of the municipality of San Pedro Yepocapa. My parents are Santiago, who works as a day laborer and did not complete any formal education, and María, a homemaker who completed sixth grade. My parents have told me I would no longer be able to continue studying due to financial difficulties. However, I do not want to leave school, so I am looking for opportunities. Thanks to my sister, I have been able to continue until now, as she is supporting me. I have a sister who was unable to continue studying due to lack of resources.
Throughout this school year, the subject that has caught my attention the most is Mathematics. My favorite food is chicken broth, and my favorite sport is soccer. One of my dreams is to graduate, work, and help with household expenses, as well as support my sister's studies. Education is essential to my family, but due to financial constraints, we haven't always been able to study at the same time. I have three sisters. The oldest is already married; one graduated and left home, and the other didn't continue her studies.
My parents are supporting me to move forward, and with the scholarship, they'll be with me throughout the entire process. I'm willing to give my all to achieve my most cherished dreams. I want to become a great professional, make my parents proud of me, be able to better support them, and show my sisters that, with effort and perseverance, you can get ahead.
