Biography
My name is Jenifer. I live in San Pedro Yepocapa. I was born on July 29, 2012.
My mother, Claudia, is a homemaker, and only completed 6th grade due to a lack of financial resources. She works in the mornings as a cook to support the household expenses, since my father's income is not enough to cover my siblings' and my expenses. My father works as a day laborer and only completed 4th grade.
I have six siblings; three have already moved out and left the family, and the other three live with my parents. One of my older siblings did not continue studying due to lack of financial resources. My teenage brother is currently studying and was just diagnosed with an illness.
My greatest wish is to continue studying to graduate with a diploma in Biological Sciences and then continue on to university to obtain a degree so I can help people.
In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and participating in educational activities. My vision is to continue studying for a better future; however, my parents won't be able to cover all the expenses. With out the scholarship, I would only be able to study up to 9th grade. They will support me, and I will also do my best to help with household chores while my mother works in the mornings. With the help of the scholarship and God, I know I will be able to continue my studies until university and become a professional.
