Biography
My name is Nayeli, and I live in San Pedro Yepocapa. I was born on April 15, 2012.
My mother is a homemaker. Due to a lack of resources, she did not continue her studies. My mother has a disease that is very expensive to treat and sometimes forces her to remain bedridden. Even so, to support my father, she plants coffee so that at the end of the year we can have some extra income for household expenses. My father is a day laborer. He attended 3rd grade, but does his best to support our family.
I have four siblings. None of them were able to continue their studies due to a lack of financial resources. The oldest already has a family, and my other three siblings do not have stable jobs, so they cannot always help with household expenses.
My biggest dream is to graduate as a doctor and obtain a specialty so I can help people in need. Especially those who cannot see a doctor due to lack of resources. One of my favorite classes is English because it opens up many personal and professional opportunities to achieve my goals.
Without a scholarship, it would be impossible for me to continue studying due to my living expenses. With this opportunity to receive it, I will do everything possible to prepare myself and fulfill one of my biggest dreams: graduating.
