My name is Linda. I live in Santa María Cauqué. I am the youngest of three children. My older sisters are in their 30's and did not complete high school. My sister suffers from an illness and receives treatment. She has been taking care of me since I was little because my parents worked to support our family. My two sisters didn't want to continue their studies, and my parents couldn't afford to send them to school either. My mother's name is María, and she is 55 years old. She didn't have any schooling. She sells things at the bus terminal. My father's name is Isabel, and he is 60 years old. He only completed sixth grade and works as a security guard. My parents are elderly, and it is difficult for them to pay for my schooling.

In the mornings, I help with the cleaning at home and do my homework. I like my homework to be creative and organized. I enjoy studying and I participate a lot in class. I always go to class excited and motivated. One of my favorite courses is Communication and Language because I enjoy reading the news and staying informed about everything happening in my community. In the future, I want to graduate as a secretary because I'm interested in delegating tasks and managing and organizing meetings. I hope to receive a scholarship so I can support my parents, as we are from a low-income family, and continue my studies so I can become a successful professional and contribute financially to their support.
