Biography
My name is Aura, I was born on June 19, 2010, in San Pedro Yepocapa, Chimaltenango. My mother's name is Aura, she is a homemaker and only completed the sixth grade due to the lack of opportunities at that time. My father's name is Walter; he is a day laborer and also only completed the sixth grade. They both motivate us to succeed, as life demands more every day. I have four siblings, and thanks to my parents' hard work, we are all in school. Sometimes expenses become difficult, and we feel like we're all struggling, but we try to help them so we can continue our studies.
One of my dreams is to graduate and find a decent job to provide meaningful support to my family. I want to continue my education, although it's sometimes difficult because all my siblings are also in school. Even so, I know that with effort we can move forward, seeking support that will allow us to continue our studies. Despite everything, I find inspiration especially in my mother's strength. Her determination to keep going, even on the most difficult days, motivates me not to give up. Although circumstances have tested us, I hold onto the hope that one day we can be more united, stronger, and more connected than before. I am on this path learning and growing, trusting that, despite the adversities, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
